A free live class with Ranbir Puar
You took the assessment, so you already know which pattern your nervous system runs. This hour is about what comes next, which is what it can take to move from Storm or Boulder toward River, and why that shift tends to happen in the body rather than in the thinking.
Sixty minutes, live and online, and it's free.
The next class is Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 5:30 PM Pacific.
If you can't be there live, your registration includes the replay for 48 hours.
We'll begin with why a nervous system pattern can be so resistant to change. Storm rarely settles because someone has decided to be calmer, and Boulder rarely lifts because someone has made a better plan. There's a physiological reason for that, and it isn't a failure of discipline.
Then we'll look at what may be happening in your body, in plain language and without the jargon. You'll get a clear picture of what the vagus nerve does, why a system can read an ordinary Tuesday as something to brace against or as something not worth mobilizing for, and what conditions tend to support change when change happens.
From there we go into the body, where you'll do a guided somatic practice with me, live and in real time. I'll teach it as something portable, so that what you feel in the room is the same thing you can do on a Tuesday afternoon when your system starts to climb or starts to flatten. You'll leave with it in your hands rather than in your notes.
We'll finish with the Three Positions, an identity exercise I developed in clinical practice. It can show you how differently you hold yourself depending on which state you're in, and how to recognize which position you're speaking from before that position makes a decision on your behalf.
This is a working session and not a webinar, so you won't spend the hour watching slides and taking notes on someone else's insight.
You'll be doing the work in your own body while I guide you through it, which gives you something to notice for yourself: how you feel as we close compared with how you felt when you arrived.
This class is for people who look, from the outside, like they've got it handled. You've done the mindset work, you've been to therapy and it may well have helped, and you've tried the breathwork and the journalling and the wellness protocols with the same diligence you bring to everything else in your life.
If something fundamental still hasn't shifted underneath all of it, that may be because you've been managing something rather than living free of it. If you've ever wondered why understanding your own patterns so clearly hasn't been enough to change them, this hour was built for you.
You'll come to understand the Storm pattern from the inside, including why chronic sympathetic activation can feel like competence and drive for years before it begins to take things from you, and why rest on its own often doesn't resolve it. You'll come to understand the Boulder pattern too, including what dorsal vagal shutdown may be doing when it lays flatness and distance over what you used to care about, and why that isn't laziness.
Insight is a cortical event and your nervous system state is not, so when the two disagree the body usually wins. That's part of why you can know what's happening to you and still find that you can't think your way out of it. We'll go through what it means to work with the body first, and why that order matters.
River isn't serenity and it isn't a life stripped of stress, because you have work and people who need you and a calendar that isn't going to empty itself. River is range, which is the capacity to move into activation when your life genuinely calls for it and to come back down when it doesn't, and it's the coming back that carries the most weight. You'll leave with an honest picture of what that can look like in a real life with real demands in it.
Ranbir Puar is a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Nervous System and Somatic Specialist, Certified HeartMath Coach and Biofeedback Specialist who has been in clinical practice since 2009, with work featured on the TEDx stage and in Forbes. She's certified in a range of clinically validated listening and biofeedback protocols, which means the work can reach the body directly rather than only through understanding.
Find Your Rhythm runs live on the same date each month, and the next class is Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 5:30 PM Pacific. It's free, it's an hour, and if you can't be there live you'll have the replay for 48 hours.
You'll receive the class link, one reminder before we begin, and the replay afterward. Nothing else unless you ask for it.
Some people finish the hour and want more than an hour. For those who want direct personal access, I keep a small number of 1:1 clinical sessions open each month, where we work with your history, your physiology and your particular pattern rather than the general shape of it.
It isn't a requirement in any sense, because the class stands entirely on its own.
